One of One X Mud Pottery
The collaboration with ceramicist Yifat Varchik Perez of Studio mud felt entirely natural for both of us. Our initial acquaintance began when I asked Yifat to create the round ceramic tiles from which I made objects combining dried flowers on a clay surface. Through this connection I discovered the beautiful and distinctive vessels Yifat creates, and we planned a joint spring sale for in spring 2026. The encounter between the vessels and the botanical pieces was photographed by Dan Peretz — and unfortunately, we were forced to postpone the event due to the war that broke out with Iran. Update information on the event will be published on my Instagram page.
In this special meeting, documented in the photographs, the beauty of the connection between the botanical pieces and Yifat's distinctive vessels is revealed.
שיתוף פעולה עם הקרמיקאית יפעת ורצ׳יק פרץ מסטודיו mud, היה טבעי מאוד עבור שתינו. ההיכרות הראשונית בינינו היתה כשביקשתי מיפעת ליצור עבורי את אריחי הקרמיקה העגולים מהם יצרתי אובייקטים המשלבים את הפרחים המיובשים על מצע החימר. מהיכרות זו התוודעתי לכלים המיוחדים והיפים שיפעת יוצרת, ותיכננו מכירה אביבית משותפת בחג החירות באביב 2026.
המפגש בין הכלים והפריטים המיובשים צולם ע״י דן פרץ, ולצערנו נאלצנו לדחות את האירוע בגלל המלחמה מול איראן. פרטים על אירוע חדש יפורסמו בעמוד האינסטגרם.

One of One X Yuval Buchshtab
A collaboration between two makers, and a meeting between raw materials. The Tree and Flower series grew out of a cluster of Mediterranean cypress from Kibbutz Nirim, shaped and worked by Yuval Buchshtab.
The trees were gathered and milled in 2021, then stored in the kibbutz timber shed. Those same trees survived October 7th. Since then, every piece made from this cypress carries a strong sense of memory, and of hope in rebuilding.
To these objects we joined wildflowers from the Jerusalem Hills, dried and preserved in a traditional technique. The flowers hold their translucency, their color, and their movement, and a new language forms between each single object and the cluster they make together.

שיתוף פעולה וחיבור יפהפה בין חומרי גלם יצר את סדרת ״עץ ופרח״ ממקבץ שהתהווה מעצי ברוש מצוי שהגיעו מקיבוץ נירים, אשר עוצבו ועובדו על ידי יובל בוכשטב. העצים נאספו ונפרסו ב-2021, ואוחסנו במחסן העצים בקיבוץ. אותם עצים שרדו את השבעה באוקטובר, ומאז כל יצירה שנוצרת מעצי הברוש האלו מקבלת משמעות חזקה של זיכרון ותקווה בבנייה מחדש.
לאובייקטים האלו חיברנו פרחי בר מהרי ירושלים, שיובשו ושומרו בטכניקה מסורתית. הפרחים מצליחים לשמור על השקיפות, הצבעוניות והתנועה, ויוצרים שפה חדשה בין הפריט הבודד לחיבור המקבצי שלהם יחד.
כל הפריטים שמוצגים נרכשו, בקרוב יועלו חדשים.

Among enchanting corners, materials that blend together, art pieces and objects collected with care, in a space where outside and inside merge in a beautiful dialogue, the house and its beauty reveal themselves the longer you stay. I have known architect Alona Nevo Sidi for many years, and she welcomed me into her magical home. In a series of photographs I took, my works found their place among the walls and corners of the house she planned and built with her own talented hands.
