Art works on fabric
This category offers two types of works. The first draws from the world of embroidery and textile, and the second serves as a documentary tool, using the cyanotype technique — a process that originated in the mid-19th century.

A working surface drawn from the world of embroidery and textile, allowing for further contemplation of the interplay between flowers in varied compositions across the circular space of the embroidery hoop. The works can be displayed on a stand within a room, or used as a wall-hanging object.

השימוש במדיום הזה, של צילום כאמצעי תיעודי, החל באמצע המאה ה-19 והתפרסם בזכות הבוטנאית הבריטית Anna Atkins.. בעזרת הטכניקה הזו היא יצרה למעשה צילום ראשון של הרבריום (עשבייה) – אוסף צמחים מיובשים הכולל מידע על מקום וזמן האיסוף. אני משלבת את הטכניקה הזו בעבודות עם פרחים שיובשו בלחיצה ומנסה באמצעות האור לבטא את השקיפות והיופי שלהם. באתר מספר עבודות על בד המוצעות למכירה- המיסגור מוצג לדוגמה בעבודה 'BLUE' – מסגרת עץ מסוג אגוז אמריקאי בתצורת קופסה המשתלבת עם הבד.
The use of this medium — photography as a documentary tool — began in the mid-19th century and gained recognition through the work of British botanist Anna Atkins. Using this technique, she created what is effectively the first photographic herbarium: a collection of dried plants including information on the place and time of collection. I incorporate this technique into works with pressed dried flowers, and through light, seek to express their transparency and beauty. The site features several works on fabric available for sale — the framing is demonstrated in the work Blue: an American walnut box frame that integrates naturally with the fabric.
