Original flower press

The original works are pieces made using the traditional technique of flower pressing. The process is slow, encompassing time for collecting flowers, drying them in a flower press over several weeks, and a design process that demands delicate and precise attention to every detail. The works offer a connection that brings together creation with wildflowers, deep contemplation with respect for the raw material, and the preservation of craft as a path to meaning, reflection, and human connection. The original series are collections of works made from 2023 onwards, forming a personal herbarium — with each flower catalogued, and every flower work entirely unique and one of a kind.
